For those of you that follow Yankee Capper plays in here, Got an e-mail from Yankee Capper Sports, regarding a change in their plays... FYI I purchased two of them, I will post in the service plays thread. Good luck fellow sports investers!
I kinda like it actually and I think I was one of those pesky clients that was bugging him to do something like this
I received the following from Yankee Capper:
After much consideration and consultation with clients, I've decided to change the way I release plays a bit. One of the major complaints I receive from clients is that I just plain out release too many plays and a lot of you simply don't have the bankroll to take advantage of every play. The current method of picking games has many advantages as well as disadvantages. Last Sunday we went 11-1 and gained 33+ Units. That is definitely a nice advantage. Another advantage is smaller betters are able to bet more games and that suits the casual better.
The disadvantages to you are having too many games to bet on and track and always running the risk of losing a great deal of your bankroll in just one Ticket. There is a huge disadvantage for me as well because I do not release a play unless I invest all the necessary time and resources into it. When capping 10-15 games a day, you can surely see how this consumes all of my time and allows less time researching each game.
I've decided to change my approach somewhat. From now on, plays will be available on a À la carte type system. I will release far fewer plays each day. Some days there may not be any plays and some days there will be 5+ plays available. All plays will be rated the same, 5 Units and sold separately for only $15. This will still allow me to keep accurate records of wins and losses along with units won/lost.
The Total Ticket will still be available and you can buy all of the plays for only $50. Let me explain the large price jump for the Total Ticket... The Total Ticket will still include all of the premium plays available that day, whether there are 1 or 5. The advantage to you is getting only the best plays for that day and thus you can wager and win more on each play.
I strongly feel that by releasing plays in this fashion, it will benefit both you and I. You have less plays to wager on and thus can invest more in only the strong plays. I can shift the time I spend researching smaller plays and focus solely on just a few plays. This will allow for more quality research on the plays I am going to release and in turn result in more successful plays.
Current subscribers of the Total Ticket will not see any price increases!
Bonus Plays will still be mailed out, however will not count against the record of wins/losses/units.
HIGH ROLLER PLAYS are still available, no changes.
I am always interested in feedback. Please, reply and let me know what you think of the new method. I look forward to hearing from you!
